Wow! Logging into my IBM SmartCloud for Social Business account this morning. And what do I find? IBM Docs is now implemented as part of the Files application!
At the upper left in the Files window You find the Upload File button, and to the right of this there is a new button named New. WhenYou click on this there is a popup menu where You choose between the options Document, Spreadsheet and Presentations.
So, just log on and start working! And best of all – if You have a SmartCloud Engage Advanced package, there is no extra charge! Others will have to pay the small amount of $ 3 per user per month.
The correct name for IBM Docs in the SmartCloud is IBM SmartCloud Docs. And it is really smart because documents are easily and directly shared with you colleagues or collaborators outside the firewall through the free guest accounts You may share to collaborate with outsiders.
And nothing needed to be installed locally. Everything happens in the cloud.
