A book you must read: Doing Business with IBM Connections

cover-dbc2013Planning to make your company a social business? Wize decision. But then you have to do it properly, prepare thoroughly and read up first. And the book you certainly shluld read first is Michael Sampson’s new book «Doing Business with IBM Connections: Opportunities for Improving Processes, Driving Results, and Acheiving Great Outcomes with IBM Connections 4.5».

No, I have not read the book myself, yet. It is still in the print and will be on it’s way from New Zealand to Norway as soon as it leaves the press.

But I have read Michael’s two earlier books, «User Adoption Strategies: Shifting Second Wave People to New Collaboration Technology» and «Collaboration Roadmap: You’ve Got the Technology – Now What?», and they are both excellent books filled with real life experiences, practical examples, what to do and what not to do. I have used them as my own guide when doing social business adoption with my Norwegian customers.

Michael Sampson is, in my opinion, the number one guru on adoption of social business and social technologies. He does a lot of workshops, seminars and consulting all over the world. He has worked a lot with adoption of both IBM Connections and MS SharePoint and gives advice in both cases.
